Olaosebikan, others commend Ajimobi on LG Elections

Following the announcement by Governor Abiola Ajimobi   of Oyo State that local government election would be conducted in February 2017, some notable Nigerians led by Mr. Kehinde Olaosebikan have commended the governor for clearing all hindrances and allowing the conduct of the election in the state.

According to them, the announcement attracted loud applause from all quarters. The commendation was contained in a statement issued by a coalition of youths and politicians across party lines in the ten wards of the present   Oluyole Local Government Area, stressing that  Ajimobi has confirmed that he is not just a quintessential democrat but a profound leader with genuine interest for the grassroots development. The Oluyole United For Real Growth called on all equipped, accomplished and well meaning citizens of the state to show interest in the chairmanship and councillorship election for real growth in all the local government areas of the state. For Oluyole Local Government, the group made up of functional members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Accord Party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Social Democratic Party (SDP, Labour Party and Alliance for Democracy, specifically called on a former Chairman of the local government, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan to come out for the chairmanship position so as to give the right leadership and accelerate the development of the local government area. The group noted that the present situation in the country required that the best in the area of leadership should be fielded in order to get the best for the wards, local governments and state generally. As a former Chief Press Secretary to the governor of Oyo State , the group said Olaosebikan proved his worth by emerging the best CPS in Nigeria at that time.
