She is a torch bearer of Bamac Ibadan. She was educated at Delta State University, Abraka, where she bagged a B.Sc. in Education. As a career educationist, Mrs Odekunbi was a teacher at Women’s Teachers’ College, Maiduguri, Borno State, Fiditi Grammar School, Fiditi, CAC Grammar School, Aperin Ibadan and Holy Trinity Grammar School, Old-Ife Road Ibadan before her promotion to the principal cadre. Her passion to impart knowledge was great and appreciated by all that passed through her. She has been known to be courteous, hardworking and loyal. Before leaving the service of TESCOM of Oyo State in 2015, she also served as the principal of Lagelu Grammar School (Junior 1) and Bashorun High School Ibadan. She has occupied various positions in the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) like National Social Secretary, Second national Auditor and Vice-Chairman Scholarship Committee. She is still full of energy, retired but not tired.
